Underneath the mysterious Forest of Dean lies a hidden world, spectacular and unseen, a vast natural cave system that has been mined for thousands of years.
The Caves are self-guided — no need for a hard hat — explore winding passages and 10 unique caverns. Learn about more than 4,500 years of mining history and experience the excitement of being 100ft below ground.
Cave Entry includes the Back to the Cave sculpture exhibition until the end of August.
Above ground, there is plenty of free parking for visitors. Our Lamproom Café offers organic coffee, lovely cakes and light lunches for hungry adventurers to fuel up.
